NEWTON'S New & Improved Terrestrial Pocket Globe No. 66 Chancery Lane London. made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores, graduated equator and ecliptic, the oceans with an analemma and a note beneath reading NB The Improved Analemma is intended to supercede the necessity of the Ecliptic Line hitherto unnecessarily drawn upon the Terrestrial Globe Pub. Jan. 1. 1817, in its original case, lined with celestial gores NEWTON'S Improved Pocket CELESTIAL GLOBE, the constellations named but not depicted, the stars on a hand-coloured green background with the milkyway given in white.
