In the Kakiemon style and palette with variant rims, one cup and saucer painted in the Wachteldekor pattern with two quails underneath blooming chrysanthemum branches, the taller cup and saucer with flowering peony and insects, the single saucer with the 'Three Friends' among banded hedges (5)

Similar examples to the single saucer are in the Syz Collection (no. 92), the Wark Collection at the Cummer Gallery (no. 405), and formerly in the Anderson Collection (no. 28).
