OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1560
With deep curved sides and sloping cusped rim on short foot, the white ground decorated with floral spray outlined in black consisting of light blue tulips with bole-red buds interspersed with darker cobalt-blue carnations and daisies, five small stylised cloudbands on upper edge of cavetto, the rim with cobalt-blue and grey-blue wave and rock design, the exterior with cobalt-blue and bole-red alternating cintamani and stylised cloudband, intact
12¾in. (32.4cm.) diam.
