A Victorian brass-bound rosewood dressing case
of oblong form, containing seven various silver-topped glass toilet jars and bottles and a shaving brush in cylindrical case, each piece engraved with a crest, four of the bottles also engraved with rococo scrolling foliage, fitted with a Bramah lock and lined in tooled red leather and red plush, the cover with a star-shaped brass cartouche engraved with a monogram, the silver lids maker's initials G.R., London 1842 - length of dressing case 12in. (30.50cm.), in a leather travel cover.
