SIGNED AL-HAJJ SHARIF HUSAYN SAHIB, OTTOMAN TURKEY, DATED AH 1263/1846-7 AD
The single-edged blade of typical shape, with fuller along the strong edge, the spine carved with central ridge, the walrus-ivory hilt with replaced panels, the gold-damascened decoration with floral arabesques and calligraphic medallions, signed and dated, with silver repoussé sheath
