Mechanical keyless lever movement, 32 jewels, repeating on two hammers, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, circular case, chased and translucent blue and green enamel floral decorated band, bezel and rim, a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting reclining hunters to the front, a tiger fighting a python to the back, case and cuvette numbered, dial and movement signed Swiss Made

Repeating watches decorated with painted enamel hunting scenes were often exported to China where they enjoyed enormous popularity in the late 19th century (see La Montre Chinoise by Alfred Chapuis, pp. 209 - 213).
