Lot Essay

This Persian translation of Tarikh yamini is possibly that of Abu al-Sharaf Jabadkani which was written in 1186 AD or Nasih bin Zafar al-Jurfadiqani, written in 1206-07 AD.

The text is important for our knowledge of the conquest of Hindustan under the reigns of the founders of the Ghaznavid dynasty, Amir Subuktegin, and his son, Sultan Mahmud of Ghazna.
