Comprising parts of Qur'an XIX (sura maryam), Qur'an III (sura al imran), Qur'an XLII (sura al-shura) and others, Arabic manuscript on paper, 200ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 17ll. of black bihari script, with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, the name of God picked out in gold outlined with black, some verses picked out in gold outlined with black, sura headings in white thuluth script on gold within illuminated cartouches issuing marginal medallions, text within double red rule, marginal section markers in gold thuluth script within finely illuminated medallions, the opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated margins, in modern binding, misbound, not consecutive and remargined
