Lot Essay

This work is an adaptation in Farsi of the Indian fables of Bidpai also known through their Arabic version Kalila wa Dimna. Kamal al-din Husayn Va'iz 'Ali al-Kashifi is also the author of a renouwed commentary on the Qur'an, Al-Mawahib al-'aliya, of which three copies are offered in this sale, lot 210, lot 213 and lot 216.
