This scarce early example, preserved in excellent original condition, is of overall broader and softer proportions than the examples subsequently released by the factory in fully-expanded form. The earliest examples of this series were retailed flat-packed, and upon breaking an airtight packaging seal, the polyurethane foam would inflate to the determined form. The distinctive striped stretch-jersey upholstery confirms manufacture to the initial series of production.
