Baluster form on a molded circular foot, the body chased with scrolls, flowers and foliage on a matted ground, the spout modeled as a bird's head with putto mask and shells, the domed cover with corresponding decoration and a pinecone finial, the wooden scroll handle with silver joins, the body engraved with a helm, crest and motto, the other side later engraved with a Duke's badge, marked on body and under base
