MARK OF WILLIAM BOND, DUBLIN, CIRCA 1775
Cylindrical, the sides pierced and engraved with birds among foliage, with beaded scroll handle, the domed cover with openwork thumbpiece, engraved with a crest, with blue glass liner, marked inside cover with maker's mark only
4 5/8 in. (11.6 cm.) high
weight of silver 5 oz. 3 dwt. (161 gr.)
The crest is probably that of Wolfe, Ireland.
