Drum-shaped, the sides pierced with foliage scrolls, the plain flat cover engraved with a crest and with a fluted thumbpiece, with reeded handle and blue glass liner, marked underneath and inside cover
4½ in. (11.2 cm.) high
weight of silver 16 oz. (500 gr.)
The crest is that of Henley, for Joseph Warner Henley (1793-1884) of Waterperry, an Oxfordshire MP from 1841 until his retirement at the age of 85 in 1878.
