A PAIR OF RED-GLAZED BOWLS AND DISHES
YONGZHENG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-35)
The dishes, with shallow rounded sides, each covered with a soft crushed strawberry-red glazed thinning to a paler tone at the rim and above the foot; the bowls, with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot, each covered with a glaze of soft, slightly greyish crushed strawberry-red color thinning to a paler tone in a line around the foot, the interiors white.
The dishes: 6½ in. (16.6 cm.) diam.
The bowls: 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) diam. (4)
