A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
On three elephant head gilt bronze supports, the lower part of the body enamelled with flowering branches beside rockwork all reserved on a turquoise ground and a gilt bronze band carved and pierced with a clawed dragon and medallion enclosing the auspicious shou character, the domed cover similarly decorated, the gilt bronze finial with scrolling dragons chasing the flaming pearl.
