QIANLONG/JIAQING PERIOD (1736-1820)
The cover is decorated with a central yinyang medallion encircled by various bands of ruyi heads and lotus flowers on scrolling foliate stems, a band of pendant ruyi heads encircles the rim of the base above further scrolling lotus blooms.
