The box of flattened circular form, the cover is decorated to the centre with a roundel of a stylised shou character surrounded by concentric decorative bands, the base decorated around the body with geometric patterns interspersed with scrolling ruyi heads, all reserved on a turquoise ground, the base with a faint incised six-character mark.
