A WHITE JADE BELT HOOK AND TWO JADE SEALS
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The belt hook terminates with a head of a duck and the shaft is carved with a further duck holding a leafy millet spray in its beak, the underside is incised with a flower head, the stone is of an even tone; the square celadon seal is surmounted with a tortoise and the face is carved with two seal script characters, the stone has paler, cloudy inclusions; the dark grey and brown mottled double seal is surmounted with a horned mythical beast, the face is carved with seal script characters.
