A PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUE WITH FIGURES
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The plaque is pierced and carved in high relief with a bearded scholar and an attendant below a pine tree descending a rocky mountainous path from a pavilion, in the distance a steep path cut through the mountain is depicted ascending towards the clouds, a gushing stream is carved to the bottom right corner, the stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet inclusions.
