A broad katakiriha-zukuri katana, length 65.4cm, with shallow curve, rendai, gomabashi, and bonji horimono on the omote, and futasujibi on the ura, itame and mokume hada, gunome-midare hamon of nioi with much nie, and ko-maru boshi, the black lacquer saya with hats and sword of Shoki The Demon Queller in togidashi-e, kojiri in the form of a demon sheltering under a Chinese hat in shibuichi, copper, and gold inlay, the kurikata and fuchi-kashira of shibuichi with Shoki and a demon in iroe takazogan, the fuchi with signature Toshinaga, the shakudo, copper, and gilt menuki and shakudo tsuba depicting Shoki pursuing demons, the tsuba signed Kikuchi Tsunekatsu with a kakihan
