The domed cover with flambeau urn finials and pierced gallery, the arched glazed door flanked by pilasters, inlaid overall with scrolling foliate motifs, the engraved dial with Roman chapters above a gilt mount inscribed 'Hy Dasson/Paris', the movement with circular plates, twin barrels with quarter strike on two gongs
