Château Duhart-Milonu
Château Duhart-Milon is owned today by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), who purchased it in 1962 and completely replanted the vineyards, which lie south and west of Lafite itself. The property dates to the early 1700s, and the original ch?teau to 1650. This original building has now been replaced by a modern house, and the winery is located in the center of the village of Pauillac. The vines and the wines are tended to by the staff of Lafite with the same care and attention to detail that is lavished on the greater property. The wines, of course, are different: slightly more rustic, perhaps, and less elegant than Lafite, but it is a classic Pauillac and a wonderful value for those who love the Lafite style.
