With ebonised pearwood mouldings, the upper section with two small drawers flanking a mirrored cupboard door, the ebonised-strung fall enclosing a highly architectural interior of small drawers and pigeon holes flanking a fan-lit door with steps below, veneered in satinwood, burr poplar, tulipwood, satinbirch, ebonised pearwood and fiddleback sycamore, above three long exterior drawers with mother-of-pearl escutcheons, the exterior handles added in England in the 19th century
