A FLAMBE-GLAZED LOBED VASE
INCISED DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The vase is of hexafoil lobed section with conforming neck and everted floral rim, standing on a low flaring foot, all under a deep red glaze with purple and lavender streaks, the interior of the mouth with a light lavender glaze and the base covered in a brown wash.
7 7/16 in. (18.9 cm.) high, stand, Japanese wood box
