The artwork for Queen's 'News of the World'album sleeve was based on the October 1953 issue of Astounding Science Fiction magazine, and as part of the promotional campaign for the album's release approximately fifty replica robots as seen on the artwork were produced, to be placed in high profile record stores in the UK, of which very few are known to have survived.
