lined in blue plush and tooled leather and with mother-of-pearl cartouche and escutcheon, containing nine silver-topped glass toilet jars and bottles, some engraved with flowers and foliage and with vacant circular cartouches, and with several further fittings including a bodkin, an ear pick, a pencil and several items with mother-of-pearl handles, the dressing case with concealed jewellery tray, maker's initials G.R., London 1841, some of the bottles with unmarked lids - length of dressing case 13¼in.
