A late Victorian inkstand
in the early 19th Century taste, of shaped oblong form and on floral and foliate-capped lion's paw feet, applied with a gadroon, shell and foliate border and moulded with two pen rests, with two pierced and gadrooned inkwell holders, one fitted with a square cut glass inkwell, the gadrooned circular hinged cover engraved with a coronet, the centre with a gilt-lined oblong wafer box, the hinged cover engraved with two crests, the underside with slightly later presentation inscription, Messrs.
