of tapering circular form, each on lion's mask and paw feet and with a shaped rim, chased with various creatures, flowers and foliage in the Irish 18th Century taste, the teapot with rising curved spout, ebonised wood double scroll handle and domed hinged cover with swan finial, the teapot and cream jug Wakely & Wheeler, London 1906 and 1895, the sugar basin Nathan & Hayes, Chester 1904 - height of teapot 6¾in. (17.25cm.), 37oz. gross.
