the pale terracotta field with overall diagonal rows of stylised floral boteh motifs divided by linked floral sprays in ivory, green, yellow, indigo and blue surrounded by ivory border of polychrome floral sprays between charcoal-black meandering floral vine stripes, outer running-dog stripes, inscription with date (1272H) 1855AD at one end, slight even wear --13ft.9in. x 6ft.3in.(419cm. x 191cm.)
