A RICHLY ILLUSTRATED MANUSCRIPT PERIODICAL compiling various account relating to the Russian Navy and Air Force mainly in the decade following the revolution. The accounts report the travails of various ships, including the 'Prome', 'Paris Commune', 'Frunze', the ice-breakers 'Ermak' and 'Lenin', and others. One part is devoted mostly to the Turkish Fleet and action in the Black Sea during 1914-1917. The aeronautic sections discuss Zeppelin's dirigible, and the British R-101. The journal lists various contributors, including F. Raskol'nikov, L. Berman, A. Marti, P. Stasevich, and others. S. Sheff, who drew the illustrations, probably produced this journal, issuing it over the course of a number of years; the present issues are numbered 3, 4, 11 and 13, and belong to the fourth year of composition.
