In two tones of gilding, surmounted by a mask of Apollo, the dial with hours, date ring and seconds, on stepped oval and rectangular plinth, the part skeletonised twin-barrel movement with pin-wheel escapement, the underside inscribed 1166, the mask and sunburst to top replaced
