Baluster form, the circular foot chased with a band of berried laurel below acanthus leaves and bell flowers, above a band of water leaves, the lower body chased with layered acanthus leaves, with applied laurel wreath cartouches, the rim decorated with a band of foliated acanthus scrolls with rosettes, the bifurcated handles modeled as serpents emerging from acanthus leaves, the domed cover chased with overlapping acanthus leaves beneath a Viscount's coronet, marked on foot and on cover bezel
