Of rectangular form variously decorated in hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and nashiji on a black lacquer ground embellished with mother-of-pearl, hardstones and ivory with a warrior and bijin beside a winding river before Mount Fuji, the interior inset with a tray and decorated with two birds above trailing foliage
