"The '85 RSV from DRC was a riveting wine. The nose had an exotic sauvage earthy character with notes of plum, truffle and smoke. On the palate it filled the mouth with tannic vitality and had a finish that went on endlessly. Delicious now, but will age well for another twenty years. Dinner with friends in New Jersey"
