Gandhara, 2nd/3rd century
One depicting Maitreya holding a water pot, dressed in a long sanghati, his face with serene expression, the wavy locks secured in a topknot; the other depicting a soldier standing ready for combat with a spear in his right hand and a shield in his left, wearing a breastplate with central pendant over a long robe, his face and hair wrapped in a turban
