The Connoisseur was a weekly paper, published on Thursdays from 31 January 1754 to 30 September 1756, which Colman edited jointly with Bonnell Thornton. Contributors included John Earl of Cork & Orrery, Thomas Warton, John Duncombe, William Cowper, Robert Lloyd and Orator Henley.
