The rectangular tray set on eight short feet, the top panel finely carved with two peony branches and butterfly, the sides decorated with stylized lightning patterns

With wood box signed and cyclically dated kanoto tori shunjitsu (Spring 1861) Sansho'o Zokoku zo and sealed Sanuki, Sansho'o, Zokoku and another seal
