A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE 'PEBBLE' SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1850
The well-hollowed bottle is carved from softly polished stone of even white tone, with an attractive russet skin that covers half the surface of the bottle.
2¾ in. (6.9 cm.) high, chloromelanite stopper, wood stand
Provenance
George Weaver collection, acquired prior to 1950, and thence by descent within the family.
