A RARE AND FINELY CARVED GREEN-OVERLAY WHITE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
ATTRIBUTED TO THE IMPERIAL GLASSWORKS, BEIJING, 1760-1820
The flattened, pear-shaped bottle is finely carved through the pale green glass on either side with a writhing chilong, one of which is shown biting its tail. The narrow sides are carved with masks suspending fixed rings.
