A SET OF SIX BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' DISHES
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
Each dish has shallow rounded sides that rise to a slightly everted rim and is finely painted with a central medallion of lotus meander below a band of demi lotus sprays at the rim. The exterior is painted with a band of lotus scroll.
