TWO IRON-RED REVERSE-DECORATED VESSELS
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
One is a bowl with deep sides that flare slightly at the rim, and is decorated on the exterior with bamboo reserved against a rich coral-red ground. The other is a dish with shallow rounded sides, and is similarly decorated on the interior, and with four bats on the exterior.
4 7/8 in. and 5½ in. (12.4 and 14.cm.) diam. (2)
