AN EEL-SKIN-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE
18TH CENTURY
The globular body tapers towards the foot and the tall cylindrical neck. It is covered overall with a smooth, finely mottled opaque glaze of dark and paler olive-green tones that thins to a brown color on the rim and shades to a darker brown above the foot, which is covered with a brown wash.
