AN AMBER-GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF A MALE ATTENDANT
TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
The standing figure is shown with head turned in a responsive gesture and with hands clasped at his chest within the long sleeves of his amber-glazed, long, belted tunic. His finely modeled face and cloth cap are unglazed and bear traces of pink, red and black pigment.
