AN UNUSUAL SMALL GILT-DECORATED POWDER-BLUE-GROUND VASE
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The bulbous body and waisted neck are decorated in gilding reserved on a powder-blue ground with variously decorated medallions set between a petal lappet border at the foot, a band of flower scroll and shou characters on the shoulder, and ruyi and key-fret bands at the neck.
