A RARE FAMILLE VERTE WINE CUP
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRLCE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The cup is delicately potted with deep rounded sides that flare slightly at the rim, and is finely enameled with two small fruiting loquat branches on one side, and two small butterflies in flight on the reverse.

A very similar wine cup, also with Kangxi mark, in the collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, is illustrated in The Wonders of the Potter's Palette, Urban Council, Hong Kong, 1984, no. 16.
