Paul Fordyce Maitland (1863-1909)
A Chelsea born artist, Paul Fordyce Maitland studied at the Royal College of Art under Theodore Roussell. In 1889 his work hung alongside that of his contemporaries Sickert and Steer as part of an exhibition of 'London Impressionists' at the Baillie, Paterson, Goupil and Grafton Galleries.
