Vase-shaped with coiled double serpent handles, on fluted pedestal foot, egg and dart rim and acanthus-chased cover and finial, later engraved with arms of The Worshipful Company of Butchers and inscribed Presented by The Worshipful Company of Butchers for the best carcase of beef at the Smithfield Show, on wood plinth with gilt band by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., London, 1932, inscribed with winners' names between 1952 and 1968
