The rectangular case surmounted by a vase and flanked by a female figure representing the harvest, a scoop and rake, above a rectangular base with a winding hole for the musical movement to the side, the eight-day twin-barrel movement with silk suspended pendulum and countwheel strike on bell, the associated musical movement with 10 cm. long brass pinned barrel, playing on the hour; pendulum
