A carved ivory tankard 'Elfenbeinhumpen'
French or German, late 19th Century, the base lacking
Of oval section, the hinged moulded cover mounted with a satyr and nymph and two putti, the handle with a male figure, scrolls and vines, the body carved with Bacchus in his triumphal car drawn by leopards and surrounded by Maenads, goats, Satyrs and putti in a forest scene
