From the Khamsa of Nizami, gouache heightened with gold on paper, Farhad, wearing orange robes, is depicted kneeling before an enthroned Khusraw, a number of turbaned courtiers kneel around them, a number of rubbed identification inscriptions, lines of nasta'liq above and below arranged in four columns and with further lines on the diagonal, areas of scuffing and creasing, some wormholing, mounted
